Had an absolutely wonderful first time appointment at BHS today with Carissa and Jamie. Carissa was able to listen to exactly what I was looking for with my hair and even asked for input with color swatches before mixing a custom color. She was very personable and kind.

I saw Jamie for my blowout and styling. Just as wonderful as Carissa! She gave me a beautiful blowout and left me feeling confident. She was also very kind and welcoming.

I will definitely be back for future appointments and I recommend those in the Southside check out this high class salon. They offer you drinks and ensure you are comfortable. Even had a cute little name plate ready for you when you came in ❤️

I had such an amazing experience with Jamie! She did a cut and colour for me, and I couldn’t be happier with how it turned out. The colour is gorgeous, the cut feels super fresh, and I just felt so well taken care of the entire time. The space is incredibly welcoming—beautifully set up with lots of thoughtful amenities. I even got to relax with an eye mask and hand mask while my colour processed, which was such a nice touch. Jamie is not only super talented but also creates a calm, pampering experience from start to finish. Highly recommend!

I had a great experience today with Sydney at Below Hair Studio South! She was a total expert and I felt very trusting and comfortable throughout the entire appointment. I had a full extension install and color/blonding and she did a fantastic job!
I will 10000% hopefully get to stick with her for many years to come!

Additionally, the salon itself is amazing! All of the staff and stylists I interacted with were pleasant and kind. It's a BEAUTIFUL salon and feels very clean and light and bright. They also go above and beyond to provide a whole new level of customer service while you're there.
They have drinks (alcoholic and non alcoholic) complimentary snacks, a water bottle and glass at your station with your name.
I know they are also introducing even more comfort items such as cooling gel eye patches, and a blanket if you are cold, etc.
I think this salon is taking everything to the next level and I absolutely love it!!

I will be recommending Below Hair Studio to everyone I know!

I’ve been going to this hair studio for years, and I can confidently say they are the best in the business. The team is always professional, so accommodating, and they never forget to offer a warm drink and a warm welcome. The salon is spotless, and the atmosphere is both relaxing and uplifting. The owner is absolutely lovely, and my stylist Kendra is beyond amazing — I honestly can’t imagine my life without her. She’s incredibly talented and consistent. I’m so grateful to have found this place. Highly recommend to anyone looking for top-tier care and results!

I cannot even express in words how grateful I am for my recent experience at Below Hair Studio South. Everyone there is so phenomenal and the owner Bailey was so incredibly helpful in fixing an issue I had experienced. Not only did they bring my hair goals to life, but the salon itself is also amazing.. mimosa while I get my hair done?! Heck yes!
